A Trifle Bazaar’s wide musical repertoire spans from the Breton music of France to the maqams of the Middle East. Eastern European ‘broken rhythms’ such as 7:8 time are common in the groups performances and these often provide the backing for Greek and Macedonian dances led by June.
Authentic and unusual instruments add to the flavour and quality of the sound.

The music combined with costume and dance make the band an attractive proposition for themed functions such as:
Gypsy Dance Parties
Greek Taverna Evenings
Medieval Banquets and Weddings

A Trifle Bazaar are currently recording their first album. This will include a combination of traditional numbers and original material. (see Home page for sound samples)
